Offset Bracket What is it? Due to some vehicle rack set-ups, the front chain ring of your tandem bicycle could hit the window or door frame while loading the tandem bicycle onto the Tandem Mount R4. The Offset Bracket spaces the Tandem Mount R4 up to 9â further outboard on the cross bar, and may be required to use the pivoting function of the Tandem Mount R4. Silver anodized to match the Tandem Mount R4. Do I need it? If you have 5â of available crossbar sticking out past your towers, and mount your R4 there, it is unlikely youâll need the Offset bracket If you mount your Tandem Mount R4 inside the towers, you likely will.
